It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that our dearly beloved Guadalupe M. Alvarado entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the age of 77. She was a compassionate spirit who was strongly devoted to caring for others, particularly her beloved husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She spent a lifetime caring for others as a licensed vocational nurse, working in various hospitals in the San Antonio area. She especially loved caring for plants and flowers.

She was born March 25, 1944 in Seguin, TX. She is reunited in heaven with her parents Teodoso and Inez Martinez, brother Gilbert and sister Mary. She is loved and will be greatly missed by her husband Carlos Alvarado; son Mark Ramirez and wife Monica; daughter Laura; grandchildren Vanessa and Miguel, Alejandro, Kathrine and Timmothy, Jessica and Eric, Josie, Valerie, Matthew, Joseph and Karla: great grandchildren Elena, Miguel Jr., Gabriela, Conner, Ian and Avril. Heaven has gained our most beloved blessing. She will live forever in our hearts.



Visitation will be held from 1:00pm- 5pm Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Castillo Mission Funeral Home at 520 N. Gen McMullen, San Antonio, Texas 78228.

Prayer Service will begin 2:00 pm.
