It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Guadalupe S. Bosquez, who
battled cancer bravely. She entered eternal rest peacefully at home surrounded by the
warmth and love of her family and dear friends. Lupe, as she was known by her friends and
family was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 31, 1950, to Jose and Ramona Sauceda.
Lupe will be lovingly remembered by her husband Alfredo and beloved children Connie
Padilla (the late David), Gloria Wigal (Gary), Christine Bosquez, and Diana Montañez
(Hector), ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three sisters, four brothers and
numerous nieces and nephews.
Lupe is preceded in death by her son Alfred Bosquez Jr., son-in-law David Padilla, mother,
Ramona Sauceda, brothers Vicente Sauceda, Martin Sauceda, and sister-in law
Guadalupe Sauceda.
Guadalupe met the love of her life and beloved husband, Alfredo Bosquez in San Antonio,
Tx. where they married on March 19, 1966. They were married for 57 ½ years and together
they had 5 children. Lupe was a strong woman of Christian faith and attended C.J.C Life
Church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was
always there when they needed her the most, offering support and love in abundance. She
also transferred that same support and love to her dear friends of over 40 years, Elma
Hernandez and the late Nati Campos who were like sisters to her. She was a loving wife,
mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, and friend.
Although her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her, we are thankful she is no longer in pain
and can finally rest. While we will never see Lupe's physical presence again, her spirit will
remain in our hearts.
Visitation will be at Castillo's Funeral Home located at 520 N. General McMullen Dr, San
Antonio, Texas on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Prayer service
will begin promptly at 6:00pm. Lupe will be laid to rest on Wednesday November 20, 2024,
at San Fernando Cemetary #2 at 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, Tx. at 9:30am
