Guadalupe S. Bueno was called home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at the age of 73. He was born in Mathis, Texas to the late Victor and Guadalupe Bueno. In 1967 Guadalupe married his sweetheart Josefa, and together they built a beautiful foundation for their loving family to grow. Guadalupe is reunited in Heaven with his parents, his son David Bueno, grandson Julio Sanchez, and siblings Juan Bueno, Gilbert Bueno, Feliciano Bueno, Tomasa Lara, Rosa Bueno, and Fidencio Bueno. Guadalupe is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Josefa M. Bueno; his six beautiful daughters Erlinda Rubio (Gerardo), Esther Bueno, Lucy Bueno, Mary Helen Hernandez (Epifanio), Mary Lou Bueno (Nasario Uvalde), and Christina Mendoza (Hilario); 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; siblings Victor Bueno, Roberto Bueno, Margarito Bueno, and Estanislada Arredondo; along with numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Castillo Mission Funeral Home from 3:30pm until 7:30pm with The Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart in procession at 9:30am from Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Thursday, May 27, 2021for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church at 10:30am. Interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
