Beloved Guadalupe T. Castillo left on her heavenly journey on October 16 2021. She was born on April 9, 1930 to Miguel and Dolores Velasquez in Seguin Texas. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and unity. Preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Eduardo A Torres, daughter Rosalie Vargas and son Fernando Torres. Her surviving loved ones include her beloved husband of 30 years Carlos Castillo, daughters Irma Ortiz (Larry), Norma Jean Montalvo, Dorothy Solis (Rene) and son Edward Torres. Beloved grandmother of 22 beautiful grandchildren,19 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great grandchildren, along with many extended family and friends. She was a Christian woman who loved the lord, her final days were no different, she used her remaining last words to minister to us all. She was an elegant, graceful woman who worked hard to provide for her family. A life long avid camper, she spent many a day camping along the Frio River at Garner State Park. She was also known for her quick wit and her ditcho's. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Embrace Hospice staff for the tender care they provided.
