Guadalupe P.
De Luna
December 12, 1935 – November 19, 2025
Guadalupe P. De Luna, age 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior early Wednesday morning on November 19, 2025. She was a loving and amazing daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend to many. She loved watching her Novelas, Spurs, Cowboys and religiously recited the rosary on a daily basis. She had a heart of gold and no matter who she met she would make a long time friend. She always made sure that holidays were spent celebrating with the entire family even if it was cramped in her small little apartment. Guadalupe was born December 12, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Juan Perez, and Florinda C. Perez; brothers: Pablo Perez, Carlos Perez, Joe Perez, Juan Perez; sisters: Dolores Monge, Juanita Rodriguez, Gloria Rodriguez, Emma Velasquez, and son Gregorio "Crow" De Luna.
Survivors include son: Oscar De Luna, and daughters: Candelaria Silva, Petra Heredia, Anna M. Woodson, Cynthia Ybarra (Michael Stone), 15 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart; as well as her youngest sister, Florinda "Mongo" Ruiz and numerous nephews and nieces. She had some amazing friends who she worked for that we could not leave out and we truly appreciate all of you loving on her and always treating her and us like family. Thank you Richard, Danette, Hannah Maddux and Jim and Millie Harnish; Seth, Marquel, Addison, Madeleine and Cinda McCabe as well as Kathy and Jack Winn. A special thanks to Windemere Nursing Facility for taking care of her for the last year. It was what she wanted, and she was a special kind of resident but she made a lot of the nurses have a special kind of love for her. She truly fought till the very end and now has joined her parents, brothers, sisters and her son.
