Guadalupe Gloria Escobedo
February 24, 1957 - June 25, 2025

Guadalupe (Lupe) Escobedo entered into eternal rest, on June 25, 2025. Lupe is preceeded in death by her father,  Louis Escobedo Sr, mother,  Angelina Tijerina, brother,  Ignacio (Nacho) Escobedo,  sister,  Angelita (Lita) Tijerina, and Daughter Stephanie Cruz.

Lupe is survived by her children, Arturo Flores (Elizabeth), Christopher Cruz (Kimberly) and Jessica Burton, as well as 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Sister, Susan Wright; brothers,  Louis Escobedo Jr. (Sylvia), Robert Escobedo (Lucy), and Justo Tijerina.
Lupe was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, sister and friend. She was a reading enthusiast with a fondness for fishing. She enjoyed being on a dance floor and  the life of the party. Her extraordinary ability to connect with others allowed her to forge long life friends wherever she went. Her kindness and dedication to family and friends were truly admirable. Lupe possessed a passion for unique jewelry, always gravitating towards the show stopping pieces.

In her youth, Lupe was a distinguished billiards player. A determined single mother of three, she pursued a higher  education, earning a Bachelors Degree in Nursing.  Her compassion for her profession allowed her to connect with individuals worldwide.
Lupe's legacy is irreplaceable,  marked by her infectious laughter and distinctive sense of humor. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
