The Lord has taken Guadalupe Gomez on a heavenly walk with him on December 22, 2021. He was born in Kenedy, Texas, on September 22, 1928.

He was a great father, "popo" (grandfather), son, brother, uncle and friend. He brought great love and wisdom to everyone who was fortunate enough to cross his path. He joined his wife, daughter, father, mother, brother and sisters, on this heavenly walk. He leaves behind his children, Susan Gomez, Roger Gomez, Elizabeth Gomez Gonzalez, Edward Gomez and James Gomez; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother and sisters. The life lessons that he passed down will always be treasured. He will forever be in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home from 3:30 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Sunday, January 9, 2022, with a Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. A Funeral Procession will depart Castillo Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 10, 2022, for a 10 a.m. Graveside Service at San Fernando Cemetery. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Air Force. Services under the direction of Castillo Funeral Home.
