Guadalupe Rodarte Medina passed away on Wednesday August 3rd 2022. Before her passing, she raised five children. Patricia, Theresa, Carol, Mark, and Christopher medina. She is also survived by her sisters, Lydia A. Peacock and Ninfa R. Castillo and son-in-law Christopher Berzewski. Two brothers, Hector and Eric Rodarte passed prior to her. Guadalupe will also be remembered by eight grandchildren. Robert Andrew Medina and wife Lisa, Stephen Martinez Jr, Stephanie Martinez, Izaiah Medina and wife Breana, Stephen Medina, Michael Medina, Jonathan Medina and Crystal medina. She also became a great grandmother to seven great-grandchildren. Andrew Jonah Medina, Kim Kay Gomez, Stephen Gomez, Marisol Gomez Berzewski, Theresa Rossi Medina, Sadie London Catala Medina, and the youngest Aurora Liyah Molano. As a young girl, Guadalupe was raised by Andres and Cuquita Rodarte. She attended St. Philip's College and earned an associate's degree as a licensed vocational nurse in assisting doctors in labor and delivery. At the end of her career, she took care of the elderly, whom she affectionately called " my viejitos ", at Morningside Manor Nursing home. She enjoyed going to church on Sundays and spending time with her fellow churchgoers. She also enjoyed her novellas and watching old movies, especially with Sean Connery. To stay active, she joined a water aerobics Club at Woodlawn Park, and along with her new aerobic friends, they called themselves " The Woodlawn Mermaids ". She acquired the nickname, " Grandma Cappuccino ", for her love of her favorite drink, a hot vanilla cappuccino. However, nothing beat watching the San Antonio Spurs and her favorite player..... Manu Ginobili. As her time has come, she will be greatly missed and remembered. Nonetheless, she will not be alone, as she will join her daughter Theresa in the world above us. As time goes on, we will cherish and reminisce the time spent with you and remember your smile that came after all your silly little jokes. Unt
