Our Beloved sister, aunt, and Mother Guadalupe Ortiz

Guadalupe Ortiz age 65, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 6,2021 at Methodist Metropolitan Hospital. During her last breaths, her daughter Samantha Morales held her hand and comforted her while the Lord welcomed her into Heaven.

Guadalupe, known to many as Lupe was born on November 15, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from JFK High School and later worked in the healthcare field.

She was a long-time resident of San Antonio. Lupe loved her family deeply. She loved laughing with her family and enjoying delicious home cooked meals with them. She enjoyed listening to music, reading, and completing her words finds. One of her fondest memories, is when her daughter Samantha prepared fried fish for her. With her son Isaiah, she enjoys having a virgin pina colada while eating at a restaurant.

Her life was a living example of her favorite bible verse "Forgive one another as God has also forgiven you. Lupe is loved deeply and will be missed by her daughter Samantha Morales and son Isaiah Morales.

Visitation will take place on Saturday January 23, 2021 from 11am-4pm, with a rosary to begin at 3pm. Family and Friends will gather at Castillo Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements will be held privately by the family.
