In Loving Memory of
Guadalupe “Lupe” Saucedo Quintero
December 28, 1944-June 21, 2026
Loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Guadalupe Saucedo Quintero went to be with the Lord on June 21, 2026, at the age of 81.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cipriana and Benito Saucedo; her beloved granddaughter, Dominique; her beloved brothers, Marcelino, Juan, Martin, Luis, Benito Jr., Anacleto; and the love of her life, her beloved husband, Joe Quintero.
She leaves behind a legacy of faith and love through her sons and daughter-in-law, Anthony, Jesse, Adam, and Randi; her grandchildren, Amanda, Adam, and Lauren; and her great-grandchildren, Aiden, Ava, Abigail, and Josiah; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
In her final moments, before being granted her angel wings, Guadalupe was surrounded by the love of her family. She left this world knowing how much she was loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She persevered through the love of God, who gave her strength, courage, and faith. A devoted Catholic, she found peace and strength in prayer and faithfully trusted in God’s plan throughout her life. She lived her life to the fullest and devoted her time to offering wisdom, teaching us to never give up, and reminding us to trust and walk in the ways of our Lord. Her family was God’s greatest gift to her. They were her pride and joy, and she loved each one of them unconditionally. Her faith, kindness, and generosity will always serve as an inspiration to us.
Her home was an open door to all. She loved serving everyone who came through that door and found great joy in bringing family and friends together. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where she lovingly prepared countless meals that became cherished family traditions. She was a wonderful cook and was known for making the very best homemade tortillas, tamales, rice, beans, stuffing, and many other recipes that will forever remind us of her love.
She never asked for much in return, only that those around her felt loved, welcomed, and cared for. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family, sharing a meal, offering words of encouragement, and creating memories that will live on for generations.
Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing she has been welcomed into the arms of her Savior and reunited with her beloved husband and those who went before her. Her legacy will continue to live on through the lives she touched, the family she cherished, the traditions she created, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.
She measured a rich life not by what she had, but by how well she loved and cared for others. She will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
