Guadalupe "Lupe" Salas Rodriguez, daughter of Guadalupe and Isabel Salas was born on November 1, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas.  She graduated from Edgewood High School and with her husband owned and ran a family business for many years. She was united in marriage to David Rodriguez Jr. who proceeded her in death in 2014. She was a mother to three children and cherished her grandchildren.

She was loved for her laughter, enjoyed the company of family, friends and neighbors. She was generous, a very hard worker, and had a strong will for life.  She courageously fought cancer for over a decade through her faith in God, prayer, and a positive outlook for living.

Her family and friends will cherish many wonderful memories of her.  She is proceeded in death by her father, husband and grandson Robert Jr.  She is survived by her mother, Isabel V. Salas, her brothers Gilbert (June), Carlos (Michelle), Raymond (Linda) and Juan; as well as, her children, Anna Marie Buentello and son-in-law Robert, Cynthia Campos Cardenas and son-in-law Michael, and son David Rodriguez Jr.  Her five grandchildren, Breanna, Michael, Samuel, Danielle and Jesaray; and several nephews and nieces, cousins, extended family, and friends.
