Guadalupe M. Salazar went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 14th, 2022, at the blessed age of 90. She was born on July 8th, 1932, to Ildefonso and Julia Moncada Menchaca, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico.

In heaven, she is reunited with her parents and siblings Jose, Jovita, Manuel, Rafael, Ildefonso Jr., Margarita, and Antonio, Sr.

She is loved and will be greatly missed by Roberto A. Salazar her loving husband of 64 years (married January 2, 1958, Civil Ceremony in Seguin, Texas and July 4th, 1967, Sacrament of Marriage at St. Agnes Catholic Church San Antonio, Texas); son Victor Salazar; daughters Maria E. Coronado (Wally) and Alicia Gamboa (Jorge); grandchildren Linda Marie, Victor Manuel, Lisa Michele, Analicia, Jorge Luis and Denise; great-grandchildren Marissa Feliz, Jacob Ray, Dominic James, Lucas Agustín, Alexander Elias, Daniel Antonio; nieces, nephews extended family members and friends.

A visitation will take place on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 3:30pm to 8:00pm at Castillo Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart in procession from Castillo Funeral Home at 9:30am for a 10:00am Funeral Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
