Guadalupe G. Tristan, born on July 20, 1938, was called home to be with our Lord on July 13, 2026.

He is reunited in Heaven with his parents, Gonzalo and Petra Tristan; his son, Javier Tristan; and his siblings, Gonzalo Tristan Jr., Sylvia Tristan, and Janie Gomez.

Mr. Tristan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Paula C. Tristan; his daughters, Diana Tristan Martinez and her husband, Rick Martinez Jr., and Leticia Tristan Ruiz and her husband, Rene Ruiz Sr.; his grandchildren, Priscilla Tristan Talamantes and her husband, Freddy Talamantes, Erika Martinez Lopez and her husband, Jason Lopez, Rene Ruiz Jr., Elexis Martinez Medina and her husband, Javi Medina, and Valarie Paulette Ruiz; and his great-grandchildren, Ayden Tristan Talamantes, Avyana Pauline Talamantes, Mariana Lia Lopez, and Jason A. Lopez Jr. He also leaves behind many other loving relatives and dear friends who will cherish his memory.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Tina and Marisela from Christus VNA Hospice, as well as Manuela Garcia, for the compassionate care and kindness they provided to Mr. Tristan.

Guadalupe was a man of deep faith, unwavering love, and quiet strength. His legacy will live on through the family he cherished and the lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.
