Guillermo O.
Zamarripas
June 25, 1932 – January 19, 2025
Guillermo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His legacy of love, strength,
and wisdom will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Guillermo was married to his beloved wife, Rosalie, for 62 years, a partnership built on devotion
and mutual respect. Together, they raised a family that will forever remember his guidance, work
ethic, and the deep stern love he poured into every relationship. His family was his pride, and he
was always there for them—whether it was lending a hand, offering advice, or just being present
with his calm and steady presence.
A man of many talents, Guillermo was a retired Maintenance Supervisor with over 40 years of
experience. He could fix anything with just a few tools and a bit of know-how. His tips and tricks
for life made him a constant source of wisdom for his children and grandchildren. He had a
special knack for solving problems, big or small, and was always the first person you called
when something needed fixing.
Guillermo had a great love for the simple joys of life. He found peace in the quiet moments
spent gardening, fishing, and walking—always with a strong step. He also had a deep love for
the Dallas Cowboys.
A strong and resilient man, Guillermo taught us all the importance of hard work, loyalty, and the
power of family. His life was a testament to the values he held dear and never asked for
anything in return.
He joins his beautiful wife, Rosalie Rivas, and is also preceded in death by his parents Antonio
and Socorro Quinones, his daughter, Mary Jane Zamarripas, and his sons, Anthony Zamarripas
and Raul Rivas Jr.
He is survived by his sister Juana Maria Torres, and brother Pedro Quinones (Leona, sister in
law). His Children, Anita Arias, Socorro Frias, Jesse, Guillermo Jr (Gloria, Daughter in Law),
Raymond Zamarripas, Rosalie Perez, and Valentina Rivas.
His grandchildren Patrick (Avery- Wife) and Jonathan Arias, Rudy III and Irene, Richard
and Mark Flores (Rosanna - Wife), Martha Garza (Oscar Jr. -Husband), Guillermo Frias, Antonio
and Maria Jane Zamarripas, Joseph, Janice Marie, Maria Angel, and Guillermo Zamarripas III,
Raymond Zamarripas Jr. , Jose Luis Jr. and Juliana Rosalie Perez
(Antoinette Juarez), Crystal and Luis Antonio Rivas III.
His great grandchildren Aiden, Patrick Jr., Peyton, Amanda, Richard Jr, Mark Jr., Jayden,
Nevaeh, Leonydus, Valarie, Oscar III, Mila, Giselle, Angelina, Viviana, Joseph'Angel, Penelope,
Delilah, Lorenzo, Selena, Layla, and Phurious. And his Great, Great granddaughter Annalisa, as
well as his numerous other nieces, nephews, and relatives.
He will be remembered not just for the things he fixed, but for the way he made everyone
around him feel valued and loved.
We will miss him, but his spirit will continue to guide us, and his love will forever be apart of who
we are.
