Obituary

Hector Octavio Serrano grew up in Atolinga Zacatecas, Mexico. As a child, he worked on his father's ranch, caring for animals, as well as on the ranches and farms of his neighbors. He crossed the border undocumented on a train when he was 17 years old.
From the age of 17 to 41, he began working in Mexican restaurants in America. He married in 1998 and divorced in 2015, having three beloved children, Esmeralda Serrano Castrellon, Hector Octavio Serrano Castrellon, Eduardo Elihu Serrano Castrellon from his first wife, and remarried in 2017 to second wife and divorced 2019. Hector's trust in God and love for God were the most significant aspects of his life. Since childhood, Hector loved the beach, traveling, and spending time with his family from infancy. Hector also loved to cook and make others happy with his food. Antonio Aguilar y Chalino Sanchez was one of Hector's favorite singers, and he also appreciated Mexican golden age movies. His cats were his favorite animals and pets. Since childhood, he has been an extremely diligent worker who enjoys helping others whenever possible. He Was loved and will truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
