March 16, 1932 – November 23, 2022
Heliberto Aleman went peacefully home to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife of 67 years Elvira G. Aleman. In Mr. Aleman's early adult life he spent his time servicing in the armed forces both the United States Army and the United States Air-Force, taking him around the world to serve his country. 'Ole Glory' was always flown in his home because he was very proud to be an American. He retired from his civil-service employment in 1975 at Kelly Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Our father is most known for his love of music. His motto: "Music Is Life". Heliberto spent his life writing beautiful music for the Tejano Artist community, and followed his recordings thru KEDA radio station to hear his hits play over the radio. His family referred to him as the "Tejano Poet" a brilliant writer and producer. The Patriarch of the family will be forever known as the father of his children, Cynthia (Ron) Bond; +Monica (+Fred) Reina; Gloria (Robert) Salinas; Jaime Rene (Damisela) Aleman; Veronica Aleman; +Edmundo Rey Aleman; Elisa (Rene) Juarez; Thomas Edward (Nancy) Aleman, His grandchildren Anastasia Reina Mahony; Rhiannon Salinas; Annie Salinas; Bianca Salinas; Mariah (Kyle) Aleman-Martin; Emilie Rose Aleman; Katrina Aleman; Jacob Aleman; Michael Edward Aleman; David Rey Aleman; Taylor Morgan Aleman; Stevie Rey Aleman and 22 great-grand children.

Family will receive visitation, December 5, 2022 at St. James The Apostle Catholic Church, 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm; Rosary to follow, December 5, 2022 at 6:00 pm. Burial Mass will be on December 6, 2022, 10:00 am at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial site will be at City of Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe North East Section, Lot 156, 400 County Road 443, Hondo, Texas 78861; (830) 426-3378
