Henry G. Ramirez was called home to a new life on July 20, 2021, at the age of 90. He was born in Victoria, Texas, on April 30, 1931.
Henry was drafted into the military on April 19, 1995. He was a World War II (Army USAR) and Korean War. He worked for over 20 years with Glenn Shaw Pump Services. He enjoyed fishing and being around animals. During his free time, he enjoyed going to the Bingo hall. He was a gambler; loved his cards and playing a good game of solitaire. Henry is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and the many people whose lives he touched.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Hortencia M. Ramirez; daughters, Cynthia R. Cantu and Arleen R. Aguilar; parents, Benito Ramirez and Petra Gutierrez-Ramirez; and brothers, Migues G. Ramirez and Benito G. Ramirez
He is survived by his children, Henry M. Ramirez, Martha Vallejo, Leroy Ramirez, Edward Ramirez, Ralph Ramirez, Elsa R. Vaquera; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; siblings, Fina Medina, Manuelita R. Farias, Emma Alvarado, George Gutierrez Ramirez, and two step-sisters, Angie and Candie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
