Hilario Lorenzo Melendez met his Lord and Savior on August 21, 2024. He passed away in his Pleasanton Ranch at the age of 70 years old with his beloved wife by his side of 52 years.  Hilario Lorenzo Melendez was born in Reynosa Mexico on February 28, 1954, to parents Maria Eva Alanis and his father Lorenzo Melendez. He met his wife, Alvina Solis in Saginaw Michigan. They were migrant workers and traveled from city to city in love without a care in the world. They finally settled down in Chicago and had their daughter Elouise. They traveled to Baytown, Texas and had their only son Helario Lorenzo. A year later they had their daughter Maria Eva in Michigan and later had their daughters Maribel and Gloria in San Antonio, Texas. Hilario Lorenzo Melendez was a God-fearing Christian Man. Throughout the course of his life, Hilario Lorenzo was called by God to go back and minister to inmates in the penitentiary. He took a lot of pride and passion and was honored to serve the Lord in this way. He was a self-employed Man and had a passion for agriculture. Hilario was a Sandiero and had a deep passion for breeding Roosters as well. He loved his children and cared deeply for his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by many. Hilario is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Alvina Solis Melendez, his son Helario Lorenzo Melendez, daughter Maria Eva Reyna, daughter, Maribel Casarez son-in-law Daniel Casarez, daughter Gloria Lopez, son-in-law Johnny Lopez, son Ezekiel Melendez, daughter in law Sunshine Melendez, daughter Shelia Navarro. Granddaughters Esmeralda Solis, Danielle Casarez, Esther Reyna, Aracelie Reyna, Maria Isabel Reyna, Emily Melendez and Erika Elias. Grandsons Daniel Casarez Jr, Johnny Elijah Lopez, Logan Lopez, Malachi Lopez, Leroy Elias and Jerry Padilla. Great grandchildren Julian SiFuentes, Javier SiFuentes, Esperanza SiFuentes, Eliana Evelise SiFuentes, Aaron Elias, Gabriel Uribe, Charlie Uribe, Celeste Uribe and Adrian Uribe.  Sister Rose Young, brother-in-law Charles Young, Sister Beatrice Padilla, brother-in-law, Jose Padilla, and brother Rafael Melendez. Along with many Grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Hilario Lorenzo Melendez is proceeded in death by his parents Maria Eva Melendez, father Lorenzo Melendez, his eldest daughter Elouise Melendez, his brother Jose Melendez, brother Ruben Melendez's, sister Vasilia Villalobos, brother in-law Antonio Villalobos, Mother-in-law Elena Solis, father-in-law Genaro Solis and Son in law Gilbert Reyna.
