Hilda Curd passed away peacefully at the age of 84, surrounded by family on March 18, 2024 at the Pearl in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Hilda was born March 14, 1940 to the late Robert and Esther Curd.

Hilda was a long time resident of San Antonio, Texas and will be laid to rest in her hometown.

Hilda is preceded in death by her father Robert Curd, mother Esther Curd, brothers Charles, Oscar, Jimmy, Robert, and Jesse. Also sisters Mary Agnes, Mary Esther, Annie, Alice, Cindy. Daughter Elvira Converse and great grandson Jace Converse.

Hilda is survived by sisters Charlotte Loredo , Mary Ann Valdez and Doris Tobar.

Hilda had six children: Mary Vega (Trinidad) Linda Salas (Raymond) late Elvira Converse (Ernest) Diane Serna (late Michael) Irene Zinsmeister (Daniel) Pete Aceves Jr (Michelle).

Twenty Grandchildren: Yvette Vega, Trinidad Vega Jr (Aimee) Allen Vega (Angela) Erik Vega (Bizzy) Frank Castillo, Sasha Salas, Saterra Serna-Hewitt (Michael) Ernest Converse, Jefferey Converse, Brian Contreras, Marie Mendez (Robert), Crystal Castillo (Briseida) Lenette Castillo, Logan Alvarez, Pete Aceves (Alisa) Carlos Aceves, Brianna Aceves, Sophia Aceves, Ashlie Salinas (Adrian) Henry Castillo (Amber).
