February 9, 1935 to January 13, 2021

Hipolito Sanchez Sr. was called home at the age of 85 by the Lord on January 13, 2020. He was born in Somerset, Texas. Hipolito Sanchez was with his wife Leonor Sanchez for 69 years and loved to travel to the lakes and beaches. His favorite thing to do was to go fishing and ride in his boat. This was a hobby passed down to his children and their families. He loved helping anyone in need and if he passed by something that needed fixing, he was there with a tool in his hand ready to repair.

He loved his family but most importantly he loved his wife Leonor Sanchez who he married on January 21, 1952. She was his rock for over 69 years. Hipolito and Leonor Sanchez were neighbors off Brighton Street. They first met at a Pharmacy hangout called Circle. The two created what we see today in every individual carrying their DNA.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Hippolyto and Paula Sanchez, his five sisters and four brothers, his son Leroy Sanchez Sr., daughter Shirley Zapata, and grandsons Leroy Sanchez, Santos Jr. and Pauly Delgado.

He will be deeply missed by his love ones he leaves behind, wife Leonor Sanchez, daughters Lupe Sanchez, Adela Delgado (Santos), Mary Helen Sanchez (Richard Alvarado), Nora Cepeda, Sylvia O. Sanchez, his son Hipolito (Mari) Sanchez, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and numerous family members he held dear to his heart.
