Hiram
Polendo
July 18, 1962 – June 7, 2022
Hiram Polendo went to be with our Lord on June 7, 2022, at the age of 59.
Hiram was born on July 18, 1962, in Mexico to Jesus and Juanita Polendo. He attended South San High School and graduated in 1981. Together Hiram and Nelly shared a forty-year adventure and marriage together. He played an enormous role in the lives of his three children and grandchildren who were the pride and joy of his life. He loved every minute he spent playing with his grandchildren. Hiram enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; great conversations, making someone smile, feeling hopeful for the future of those he knew. As the best role model we knew, he will be immensely missed.
He inspired those around him to be better individuals. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds. He was someone who would help anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance. Hiram loved when family and friends got together. Those times exist in our memories and will be cherished forever. We loved his caring ways, he will be deeply missed, and his memory will live on.
There are no words that can express the feelings in our hearts. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Polendo.
He is survived by his wife, Nelly Beatriz Polendo; children, Vanessa Polendo Neri (Jose A. Neri Jr.), Hiram Polendo Jr., Eugene Anthony Polendo (Lisette Polendo); grandchildren, Jose Antonio Neri III, Mateo Elias Neri, Eugene Anthony Polendo II and Amelia Jade Polendo; mother, Juanita Polendo; siblings, Maricela Polendo; in addition to numerous extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Castillo Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a prayer service to begin at 6:00 pm.
