Howard G. Gover was called home by the Lord on June 23, 2021, at the age of 74. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on September 4, 1946.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dolores G. Gover and Sam M. Gover; brother, Felipe Gover; and sister, Maria Elena Gover.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife of 54 years, Maria D. Gover; children. Irene Sandoval and Howard Gover Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; siblings, Sam Gover Sr., Roy Gover, Helen Gover and George Gover; and extended family and many friends.

He worked for City of San Antonio Public Works for 25 years. He was a weekly volunteer at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, was loved by many in the community and will be greatly missed.
