Idolisa Garcia

September 2, 1962 - April 9, 2022

Idolisa Garcia went home to be with our Lord and Savior, April 9, 2022. She was 59 years old. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on September 2, 1962. Idolisa was known by friends as Lisa and Licha by her family and loved ones.

At the young age of 16, Lisa married the love of her life, David Baldemar Garcia on November 18, 1978. A year later Lisa and David began their adventure as parents and had four children. Lisa was a stay at home mother until her youngest child began to attend school. Lisa then began her career working with special education children and served 18 years with San Antonio Independent School District. She joined her husband in retirement in 2016 to enjoy time with each other and her beloved grandchildren. She treasured the beautiful memories she created with her family throughout her time on earth. Lisa's passions included spending time with her loved ones, especially her children and grandchildren. She loved plants and shared them with many. Lisa loved animals and had many pets. She was a natural caregiver and would go out of her way for anyone in need. Most precious to Lisa was her faith in God and she exhibited her faith through her actions of love. Lisa will be extremely missed.

Lisa is preceded in death by her father, Mario Reyes.

Lisa will continue to be loved and dearly missed by her husband, David Baldemar; her daughter Nancy; her three sons, Daniel, David, and Michael; her daughter in law, Candice; her three grandchildren, Liam, Nanelli and Juliette, her mother Lydia Reyes (Mario), her two sisters Irma Perez (Roger) and Lydia Valenzuela, her brother Mario Reyes, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
