Irene Castillo, passed away on Saturday June 25, 2022 at the blessed age of 74. She was born June 28, 1947 in Tlahualilo, Durango. Her amazing spirit was lifted up into the Heavens, being called home by the Lord. She was a devoted wife, beloved mother, a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother. In the Spring of 1965 she married Eleodoro Castillo and raised four children in which she treasured the beautiful memories created with her family. The majority of her employment was as a Head Cook but her calling was caring for "La Familia" making sure everyone was well taken care of, happy, loved and well fed with her delicious cooking (she enjoyed taking special request for birthdays) as well as being a protector, defender and all around strong soul. We all loved her cooking! The gardens and trees in her yard brought her much joy in life, but most of all, it was her strong faith and love for singing praise & worship to God she was known for. She will be immensely missed.
