Irene
Puente
April 11, 1939 – October 16, 2025
With deep love and gratitude, our family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Irene Rico Puente, at the age of 86. A devoted and faithful woman of God, Irene left this world surrounded by the love and prayers of her family.
Born with a song in her heart, Irene found joy and peace in music. She loved to sing, whether in church, at family gatherings, or at home and her beautiful voice brought comfort and happiness to everyone around her. Her strong faith guided her through life's challenges, and her unwavering trust in God was a constant example of grace and devotion.
Family was everything to her. She was the heart of every celebration, the quiet strength in difficult times, and the one whose love knew no limits. Her laughter, kindness, and faith-filled spirit will live on through every life she touched.
She is survived by her loving children: Rose Marie Gomez, Diana Puente, Valentin Puente, Annabelle Puente, Edward Puente, and Joe Puente.
She is also survived by her devoted daughters-in-law: Maria Puente and Rosanne Puente, and her loving siblings: Emilia Salinas, Eliseo Rico, Ernesto Rico, and Christina Willow.
Her cherished grandchildren: April, Vanessa, Janice, Crystal, Brittney, Krystle, Justin, Tammy, Christiana, Kayla, Emily, Alyssa, Jacob, Roman, Jacquelyn, Nicholas, and Michael, and her beloved great-grandchildren: Nathan, Ethan, Olivia, Emery, Baby Ray, Aiden, Gino Joe, Xavier, Logan, Elijah, Ezra, Nathan, Brennan, June, Nallie, and Nova, brought endless joy and laughter into her life.
Though she will be deeply missed, we take comfort knowing she is now rejoicing in heaven singing among the angels, her faith fulfilled, and her soul at rest in the arms of her Savior.
Her legacy of love, song, and faith will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved her.
