Irma Torres Sandoval of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2023, at the age of 75.

She was born on January 18, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas to Rosa and Jesus Torres.

Irma is preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Rosa Torres; husband James P. Sandoval; sisters Linda Cardenas and Yolanda Barrientes; brother Jesus Torres Jr. and granddaughter Raquel "Rocky" Rocha. She is survived by her children, Juan (Isavel) Oliva, Michele (Tony) Ruiz, and Monica (Mark) Gonzalez; siblings Mary Huron, Sylvia Diaz, and Diana "Dee" Torres. She was also a wonderful grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren: loved her numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. She also left behind her beloved pets, her doggies, Hazel, Lulu, and Charlie.

Irma was a fun spirited soul. Her favorite things to do were to gamble at the casino and play bingo. She loved spending time with her family and will always be remembered as the life of the party. She was a loving and caring woman with a vivacious spirit, charmingly spicy personality at times, and had a giving heart. She cared deeply for the people around her and made an impact on many lives.

Irma will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and the family looks forward to keeping her memory alive through sharing her crazy stories with her grandkids and future generations.

The Family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home for visitation on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 5:00pm and a Rosary will begin at 3:00 pm. All those who knew and loved Irma are welcome to come and pay their final respects.
