Isabel R. Escobedo, born on April 19, 1928, at the age 91 went to be with our Lord and Savior. She pass away peacefully on December 13, 2019. Surrounded by her 5 daughters, son and several grandchildren and great children. Preceded her in death Geromino Escobedo (husband), Tommie Ruiz (Mother) and Francisco Ruiz (Father).

Mrs. Escobedo is survived by her children, Irene S. Baum, Sylvia Ann De Luna (Augustine), Rose Mary Mendoza (Roel), Isabel Zertuche (Mario), Norma Jean Jimenez (Roderick) and Alex Salas (Elizabeth) and her sisters Alice Mae Ruiz, Estella Mondini and Ellouise Gutierrez and she also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. All of them she loved and touched deeply.

Mrs. Escobedo was a dedicated mother first and foremost and a meticulous homemaker. She was quiet in demeanor and her advice to her children will live on in them as pearls of wisdom. She had a passion for home decoration, ceramics and had a green thumb for planting beautiful flowers and plants.

Please join us celebrating her life at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Monday, December 23, 2019 for visitation, between 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
The Funeral departure will leave at 9:30 a.m. and Services will take place at Christ the King Catholic Church, on Tuesday, December 24,2019 at 10:00 a.m. at 8610 Perez St. San Antonio, TX 78207. Interment Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
