Isabel Rodriguez Retiz entered unto eternal rest at her residence on Saturday, October 29, 2022, she was 70 years old.

Isabel was born in Luling Texas on February 11, 1952. She is the daughter of Leocadia and Natividad Retiz who together gave Isabel and her four siblings a strong foundation of which to build on throughout life. Of all her accomplishments in life, Isabel was most proud of her children, Bobby, Leroy, Oscar, and Richard, her most precious gifts from the Lord.

Her capacity for generosity knew no bounds as she would help anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance. A true wonder in the kitchen, Isabel's cooking and baking were incomparable. She enjoyed peaceful moments to herself where one of her favorite hobbies was to sew. Had such a passion for Tejano Music.  On weekends, she was always ready for a neighborhood yard sale or various flea market visits. Isabel loved when family and friends would come together to for occasions small or large. She loved capturing those special moments and with an interest in photography would often be there to take pictures of family and friends. Times together for a family bbq, those summer fishing trips, or holidays of the past that she adored so much are moments that exists now in in our memories and will be cherished forever.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Leocadia Retiz and brother, David Retiz.

She is survived by her children, Bobby Aguilar (Cherise C.) Leroy Aguilar (Claudia R.), Oscar Aguilar (Nedy), and Richard Brian Martinez; grandchildren, Genesis R. Aguilar, Megan Aguilar, Brian Isaiah Martinez, and Isaac Nathaniel Martinez; father, Natividad Retiez; siblings, Margie Diaz, Sally Retiz, and Rey Retiz; life-long friend, Andrew V. Neria; countless friends throughout the years and numerous extended relatives.

A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, November 7, 2022, at Castillo Funeral Home. Visitation begins at 9:00 am, a Chapel Service at 12:00 pm with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi Marian.
