Our beloved Isabel L. Romero passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 92. She was born in San antonio, Texas on July 8, 1932. She was surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.

Isabel was a devoted catholic. Some of her favorite things were listening to music, dancing, playing bingo, strolling through the flea market, going to the coast, camping, and spending time in her garden. She loved everything Betty Boop and was a number #1 Spurs fan. But most of all, Isabel loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to watch horror movies with a big bag of popcorn and a dill pickle.

Isabel is preceded in death by her husband Jesse Romero, parents Josefa and Gasper Lattka, sons Gerald Gonzales and Reynaldo Gonzales. Siblings Maria, Josefa, Eva, Elias and Alberto.

Isabel is loved and will be missed by her son Mark and wife Celeste Romero, son Robert and wife Jackie Gonzales and son Alejandro and wife Lilly Gonzales, along with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, there will be a 9:30 a.m. departure for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Jose Burial Park.
