Isaias "Chy" Velasquez, born on March 14,1964, was called home to be with our Lord on December 11,2025 at the age 61, surrounded by his loving family. He is reunited in Heaven with his parents, Isidro and Jane Velasquez; sister Mary Alice Rodriguez.

Chy lived a life filled with joy, laughter, and simple pleasures. He loved balloons, barbecues, crafts, music, dancing, swimming, and going on rides. Always finding happiness in the moment. He had a playful spirit, a silly sense of humor, and a heart that loved deeply. Chy gave everyone nicknames and made those around him feel special and seen. A cold coca-cola in his hand and a smile on his face were often all he needed to be content.

He leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him. Chy will be deeply missed by his siblings, Dora Jane Cipriano(Jose), Sylvia Ann Zertuche, Isidro Velasquez, Jr.(Nora),and Leticia Marie Velasquez; nieces Anna Louise Aguillen(Raul), Norma Jean Martinez(Bobby), Dora Jane Villarreal(Larry), Adriana Nicole Villarreal, Ashley Jane Villarreal, Marcy and Machaela Canales, Emmylou Jane Zertuche; nephew, Lauro E. Villarreal (Fabiola), Elijah Mason Aguilen, Matthew Martinez (Cambree)  as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and  friends.

Chy had the sweetest heart and a soul full of love and joy. His warm smile could light up any room, and his gentle presence brought comfort and happiness to all who knew him. Though our hearts ache in his absence, we are grateful for the beautiful memories he gave us and the love that will remain with us forever.

May his memory be a blessing, his laughter echo in our hearts, and may Isaias "Chy" Velasquez rest peacefully in eternal light.

Visitation Monday. December 22,2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Castillo Funeral Home. Tuesday, December 23,2025, Family and friends will meet at San Juan de los Lagos at 9:45 for a  10 a.m. Mass. Services will conclude after Mass
