Isidro D. Perez was called to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 12 ^th 2022, he died peacefully at the age of 89.  Preceded in death by his grandson Joe Perez, Jr. and great, great grandchild Justine Alivia Perez. He was born May 5, 1932 in Dilley, Texas to Petra and Gabino Perez and was the 7 ^th of 8 children.

Isidro is survived by his wife of 67 years, Cecilia G. Perez; Five sons; Isidro Jr. and wife Elida Perez; Jerry and wife Cynthia Perez; Joe and wife Corinne Perez; Lupe and wife Julie (Ponce) Perez – John and wife Liz Perez; and Four daughters; Leticia and husband Gerald Davis; Diana Salas; Maria (Rosie) and husband Stephen Frenchik; Veronica (Betty) and husband Sam Castro.  Isidro had 40 Grandchildren; and 72 Great grandchildren; and 12 Great, Great Grandchildren.

Isidro lived a long happy life and enjoyed Fishing, Raising chickens/roosters; but most of all he loved the family gatherings and just seeing his family together; especially spending time with his grandkids.  Isidro was loved by his family, friends and community.   Over the years he also spent time volunteering in his community at St Jude's Church.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Sunday, January 30 ^th , 2022 at Castillo Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen Dr., San Antonio, Texas. Visitation 2:30 – 8:00 pm.  Private family viewing 2:30-3:30 pm.  Rosary will begin at 6:00 pm.

Church will be held on Monday, January 31 ^st , 2022 at St. Jude's Catholic Church at 10:00 am.  130 S San Augustine Ave., San Antonio, Texas. Burial to follow at San Fernando Cemetery #3 located at 1735 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas.
