Ismael Gutierrez, Jr. was called to Heaven on September 30, 2023 at the age of 74. Ismael was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 18, 1949 to the late Ismael Sr. and Hortencia Gutierrez. Ismael is reunited in Heaven with his parents, grandson Brandon Gilbert Gutierrez, and great-granddaughter Aubrie Trejo. He was dearly loved by his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Ismael is survived by his son Jaime D. Gutierrez (Carmen); 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and his 15 siblings Herlinda Gutierrez, Irene G. Thogmartin(Mark), Tomasita G. Reaves, Alejandro Gutierrez, Anna Maria G. Perusquia(Manuel), Victoria Ana Jack(James), Rosario G. Landeros(George), Helen G. Boyd (James), Eloisa G. Schlaff (Eugene), Margarita G. Diaz (Fidel), Corrina G. Enriquez(Pete), Abel Gutierrez, Percy Gutierrez (Irma), Rudy Gutierrez, and Sandra Gutierrez; along with numerous extended family and friends.
The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm with a Memorial Service to begin at 3:00pm. Services to conclude Saturday afternoon.
