In Loving Memory of Ismael Humberto Lozano Jr.
April 15, 1970 – May 25, 2026
Ismael Humberto Lozano Jr.”Wero”, lovingly known as a son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend, was called home to be with the Lord on May 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family and those who cherished him most. He was 56 years old.
Born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Ismael carried with him the values of hard work, love, and devotion to family throughout his life. He shared 30 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Rosalinda, building a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories together.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ismael H. Lozano Hidalgo, and his brother, Luis Z. Lozano Martínez.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Rosalinda Pizana Jimenez; his children, Priscilla Jimenez and Kelly Jimenez; his mother, Olivia Martínez Ochoa; his siblings, Celia Elizabeth Lozano Martínez, Oscar Lozano Martínez, Ricardo Lozano Martínez, María del Carmen Lozano Martínez, Eduardo Lozano Martínez, Olivia Lozano Martínez, Francisco Z. Lozano Martínez, Olga Lopez, Enedina Montelongo, and Roberto Montelongo Jr.; his eight beloved grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his numerous nephews and nieces; and many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
Ismael was a man whose presence could light up any room. He had a kind heart, a giving spirit, and a personality that drew people in wherever he went. He believed deeply in family, friendship, and making memories with the people he loved. His laughter, stories, and sense of humor brought comfort and happiness to so many.
He was the type of person who would lend a helping hand without hesitation and always made sure those around him felt welcomed and cared for. Whether spending time with family, enjoying music, sharing meals, or simply sitting and talking with loved ones, Ismael treasured every moment spent with those closest to him.
Ismael loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly and was like a father figure to them. He found great joy in spending time with his family, listening to music, and enjoying good food surrounded by loved ones. He also enjoyed working on cars and trucks—anytime someone’s vehicle broke down, you could always count on Ismael to lend a hand. Flooring and decking were trades he dedicated much of his life to, work he took pride in and truly enjoyed.
To know Ismael was to know loyalty, strength, and unconditional love. He touched many lives throughout his journey and leaves behind memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
Although our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing his love and legacy will continue through the family and friends who loved him deeply. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
Serving as pallbearers are Jacinto Martinez III, Joshua Castillo, Isaiah Castillo, Ethan Rodriguez, Matthew Lopez, Alexander Ceballos Garza and Michael Castillo.
"God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So He wrapped His arms around you and whispered, ‘Come with Me.’"
“Dios vio que te estabas cansando, y que no había cura. Entonces te envolvió entre Sus brazos y te susurró: ‘Ven conmigo.’”
May he rest in eternal peace.
