It is with a great sadness and a heavy heart that our beloved Jacqueline "Jackie" Guajardo entered eternal rest on Saturday May 8th 2021 at the age of 50. Jackie was born on February 12th 1971 and San Antonio Texas to Robert Mendez and Linda Garcia.
She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, step mother; step grandmother, aunt and friend. She is survived by her husband, Alex, son, Alex III, Father, Robert, stepmother, Nel, sister, Elizabeth (Robert), sister, Sandra (Fred), brother, Robert Jr(Marie),brother, Michael (Destiny), sister, Destiny, step daughter, Samantha, step children, and nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Jackie was diagnosed with stage-4 stomach cancer in March 2020. Facing her foe with grace, courage, strength and dignity she spent the last year and two months battling this horrible disease like a true warrior. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures and with a smile on her face; chatting and laughing with family and friends, fishing, mani/pedis, massages and spending every possible moment with her husband, son and family. Jackie was a friend to everyone she met. Her laughter was contagious one-of-a-kind and her impact is Unforgettable.
