Jaime Velasquez Fragoso was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the blessed age of 97.

He was born on January 26, 1928, in San Antonio, Texas, to Roberto Fragoso and Rosa Velasquez Fragoso. Jaime was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the VFW and later worked as a tile setter. He enjoyed frequent trips to Las Vegas and loved watching boxing matches with friends and family.

Jaime was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Guadalupe Rendon Fragoso; his parents; brothers Robert, Raul, Richard, and Ruben; and his sister Amada. He is survived by his brother Carlos; his sons John Richard (Andrea) and James (Marisela); granddaughters Margarita Fragoso (Geraldo Reyes), Mariposa Fragoso, and Marilyn Rose Fragoso; grandson Sebastian Fragoso; great-grandchildren Marina Soledad Fragoso-Reyes and Gregorio Josue Fragoso-Reyes; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
