James R Cisneros, 64, went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2023, at his residence in San Antonio Texas. He was born on June 5, 1959, in San Antonio, Texas, a son of the late Elvira R Cisneros and Domingo G Cisneros.

James played an instrumental role in the name change of Cenizo Park Elementary to Roy Cisneros Elementary. Roy Cisneros was James' late brother and when the opportunity to memorialize his brothers' legacy, James readily stepped up. As a son he was loving and one to be counted on, always placing the needs of his parents above his own. James lived a life guided by his dedication to family and pride in his community. Until we all meet again may he rest in peace.

In addition to his parents Elvira R Cisneros and Domingo G Cisneros, he is also preceded in death by his three brothers, Roy Cisneros, Joel Cisneros and Dr. Blas Cisneros.

Family members include three brothers, Louis Cisneros, Arthur Cisneros and Tony Cisneros, in addition to numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday January 11, 2024, at Castillo Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm for visitation and at 6:00 pm for a prayer service.
