James H. Ogden age 86 of San Antonio died Saturday morning August 27, 2022.  Born November 09, 1935 he was the son of the late Santiago and Hortencia Ogden.  James is survived by his wife, Magdalena Gonzales Ogden, brother, Albert Hernandez, daughters, Clara Guerrero, Barbara (Johnny) Escamilla, Sharon (Adrian) Gonzalez and son Abel Gonzales; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

James was a good father who always took care of his children and did the best he could to teach and guide them.  Baseball and softball were his true sports.  He loved to watch, and coached his children in addition to countless others.   He was very comfortable "between the two white lines", and was proud of his children's athletic accomplishments.  "Dad, you now have a heavenly box seat to every world series.  Enjoy your peanuts and cracker jacks."

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, from 4:30PM-8PM at Castillo Mission Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen, San Antonio, TX 78228, with a prayer service at 6PM.  Procession will depart Castillo Funeral home at 9:30AM, Saturday September 3, for a graveside service at 10:00AM.
