Jamie
Alfaro
September 23, 1973 – November 28, 2022
Jamie Alfaro loving father and son, passed away at the age of 49 in Austin, Texas on Monday November 28, 2022.
Jamie was born in San Antonio, Texas on Sunday September 23, 1973. He became a skilled electrician and a jack of all trades. He had an affinity for nature, felt one with the land and could see something special or meaningful in the smallest of things. He was a poet of life and a teacher to anyone with a listening ear. A true free thinker with the spirit to match and a wonderer of the best sort. He wished to be a protector of the meek and was a warrior who never lost his beautiful childlike soul. With the warmest smile and strongest most heartfelt hugs. When I was a kid as part of my homework, I asked my dad what he'd like to hear when he reached the pearly gates. He said, "I tried". If anyone ever tried, it was him and I really hope he got to hear those words. He was the salt of the earth, one of a kind and his memory bleeds through the hearts of those that loved him. Now he can finally rest at ease in the pure love and light he always searched for.
Forever will he be missed and loved, always.
Preceded in death by his father Jim Alfaro. He is survived by his daughter Nicole and Son in law Tomas. His grandchildren Ezra and Irie. Their grandmother[wife]Angela. Mother Hopie Alfaro. Brother Jim [Jerrie] Alfaro. Sister Janelle [Paul] Casteneda. Niece and nephews: Syrus, Seth, Cierra, Jr. And West.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one
Miss me, but let me go.
Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow
but remember me in every tomorrow.
My going has eased my pain and given me relief,
don't cry for a soul set free.
Remember me also as I used to be,
Remember the joy, our laughter and my smile,
That our being apart is just for a while.
Miss me a little but not too long,
I won't be far away, I'll be quite near,
Just call me softly and I will hear.
Visitation will take place on Monday December 12th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Services will conclude that evening.
