Jane L. Lopez of Artesia, NM passed away peacefully in her home on October 3, 2026. Born on September 26, 1948, Jane was the daughter of the late Anacleto and Lusiana Lopez. She is preceded in death by her husband Santiago E. Lopez, son Andrew Lopez, sisters Frances Tesillo, Helen Jean Lopez, and brother Johnny Lopez.

Jane was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose kindness, generosity, and loving spirit touched the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Though her time on earth has come to an end, we find comfort in knowing that she is now walking with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and resting peacefully in his eternal embrace.

Jane is survived by her daughter Veronica Lopez, son Ernest Lopez, and her grandchildren Joshua Lopez, Andrew 'Jake' Lopez, Sirena Villarreal and Pearle Dae Lopez.

Per Jane's requests no formal church services will be held. Instead their life will be honored with a burial at Fort Sam Houston cemetery in San Antonio, TX on November 13, 2026 at 2p.m.
