Janie R. Huron, age 66, peacefully entered eternal rest and joined her Heavenly Father on January 6, 2026. She was born on April 5, 1959, in San Antonio, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Timo Rodriguez; her mother, Consuelo A. Rodriguez; her brothers, Gabriel Gutierrez, Lupe Rodriguez, and Richard Alvarado; and her sister, Mary Lou Trevino.

Janie is lovingly survived by her sons, Michael (Maria), Timothy Huron, and James Rodriguez; her cherished grandchildren, Michael Jr., Julian, Laila , Amberly, Ashlyn and Alyssa ; her great-grandchildren, Carson James, Arion, and Anteo; her brothers,Robert Rodriguez, Jerry Rodriguez (Rose Rodriguez); and her sisters, Betty Hinojosa, Johnny Rodriguez, Diana Rodriguez, and Rhonda Flores.

Janie will be remembered for her unwavering love, strength, and devotion to her family. Her legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026.

Visitation will take place at Castillo Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. in Chapel A
