It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we say goodbye to Janie Sanchez Juarez, our loving and devoted mother who has impacted so many lives throughout the years. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on August 12th, 2020 at the age of 82. As God calls upon all his children, he called upon Janie to join him by his side.

Janie was born on December 16th, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas where she raised her twelve children. She dedicated her life to her family and is loved by countless family members and friends. Devoted to our Lord and Savior, Janie prayed vigilantly for her loved ones and will be missed by many. She is now at home with the Lord and will forever be in our heart.

She is survived by sons Tony Sanchez Juarez, Gilbert Santos, Rudy Juarez (Cynthia) Henry Juarez, Pedro Juarez, Ricardo Juarez; daughters Tina Acosta (Rafael), Diana Arguello (Ruben), Teresa Juarez, Susie Hinojosa (Albert), Herlinda Juarez, Leticia Quijano (Joseph); forty-two grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and numerous relatives. Janie is preceded in death by father Juan Sanchez, mother Alejandra Sanchez and son Mike Juarez.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 25, 1:00 - 5:00pm with the Rosary at 3:00 at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. On Wednesday, August 26, the funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church. The family will have a private interment at 1st Memorial Park.
