In Loving Memory of Janie Lopez Zule
February 25, 1966 – October 25, 2026
With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of Janie Lopez Zule, who departed this life on October 25, 2026.
Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her, her spirit, her strength,
and the memories she created will forever remain a part of the lives she touched.
Janie was a woman with a fierce spirit, an independent soul, and a heart that never stopped giving.
She was strong-willed, loyal, devoted and unapologetically herself. She possessed a strength that carried her through life’s challenges and a love that made those around her feel connected, protected, and cared for. She was the kind of woman who stood firm in what she believed, She loved her people wholeheartedly, and remained true to herself no matter what life brought her way.
Above all, Janie was a woman who loved deeply. Her family was an important part of her world, and she carried a special place in her heart for the people she called her own. Whether through her presence, her loyalty, her generosity, or the simple ways she showed she cared, she had a way of leaving her mark on the hearts of others. She was a devoted friend, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, and a beloved family member whose strength and spirit will never be forgotten.
Janie was the beloved daughter of Genoveva Soriano Valdez and Juan Lopez, she was loved and raised by her father Benjamin Valdez. She was a loving mother to her sons, John Lopez, Ray Lopez, Benjamin Molina, and her only daughter, Armanda Diaz. Her love for her children was a part of who she was, and the bond she shared with them will forever be carried in their hearts.
One of her greatest joys was being a grandmother. She loved her grandchildren immensely and they held a special place in her heart. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Jiselle Solis, Jacqueline Anguiano, and Miranda Lopez, who will forever cherish the love, memories, and pieces of her spirit that she passed down to them. Her love for her family was not measured in words alone, but in the depth of her heart.
Janie was preceded in death by her beloved grandson James Matthew Solis Jr. , the love of her life Armando Diaz, her father Benjamin Valdez , her grandmother Genoveva G. Soriano along with her best friends Rosa Maldonado, Ruby and Sadie Villarreal. Though their absence brought a profound loss to her life, the love she carried for them remained a meaningful part of her story. We find comfort in the thought that she is now reunited with those she loved and missed so dearly, embraced once again by the love that death could never erase.
She is survived by her beloved siblings, Richard Alvarez, Lisa Alvarez, Genevieve Marin, Rosalinda Herrera, and Sylvia Lopez, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her.
Janie’s life was a testament to resilience, loyalty, independence, and unconditional love. She was a woman who could stand on her own, face adversity with courage, and still find room in her heart to give to others even if she had nothing. She was not defined by perfection, but by her authenticity, her strength, and the love she gave in her own way. Those who knew her will remember her fierce nature, her generous heart, her unwavering loyalty, and the unmistakable presence that made her who she was.
Though her earthly journey has come to an end, Janie’s story does not end here. It lives on through her children, her grandchildren, her siblings, and every person who carries a memory of her in their heart. Her voice may be silent, and her embrace may be missed, but the love she gave will continue to live on through the generations that follow her.
A mother, a grandmother, a sister, a friend, and a woman who loved fiercely and lived life on her own terms. Janie was one of a kind, and there will never be another like her.
May she rest peacefully, reunited with her beloved grandson Baby James and the love of her life Bandit. May her family find comfort in knowing that a love as deep as hers never truly leaves us. It becomes part of who we are, guiding us, strengthening us, and reminding us that those we love are never forgotten. Still together just different.
Her life was a gift, her love was a blessing, and her memory will live on forever.
Juanie Forever loved , forever missed and forever in our hearts .
