Jason Glen Swanson was called home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at the age of 40. He was born on March 9, 1981 in Bellflower, California to Glen and Alice Swanson. Jason is reunited in Heaven with his Father Glen E. Swanson and his cousin Fame Reyes. Jason loved his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind his cherished memory in the hearts of his daughters Emily Swanson and Jacquelyn Swanson; Mother Alice A. Swanson; siblings Joseph Contreras Sr., Alonzo Vega, Eugene Vega, Kim, Terry, and Eddie Swanson, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 3:30pm until 8:00pm with a Prayer Service to begin at 6:00pm. On Thursday, July 29, 2021 family and friends will meet at Castillo Mission Funeral Home at 9:30am to depart in procession for a Graveside service at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 10:45am.
