Javiel Gamez passed away June 8, 2021 at the age of 35. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 1, 1985. Javiel recently started working as a CNA. He was a son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandchild, and most importantly, a Father. His kids were his world. Javiel was a generous person that was always willing to help. He will be missed tremendously.

Javiel is preceded in death by his mom Evangelina C. Gamez; grandparents Sebastian J. Gamez, Joe Cadena, and Ameila L. Cadena; his nephew Raymond Ramos Jr. Javiel will be deeply missed by his son Nathan Gamez, daughters Evangelina Jayleen Gamez and Jazabell Nicole Gamez; Father Jesse Gamez; and lots of family and friends. We love you Javi.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 3:30pm until 7:30pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart at 9:00am from Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Friday, June 18, 2021 for a 10:00am Mass at St. James Catholic Church. Services to conclude after Mass.
