Mr. Javier A. Magaña was called Home to be with our Lord on August 28, 2021. Mr. Magaña was preceded in death by his father, Jose and his mother, Paula.  Mr. Magaña was born on May 20, 1949 in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Mr. Magaña is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mrs. Ruth Magaña and their 2 children, daughter, Ruth Ann Magaña and son, Danny Liguez (Nelly); grandchildren Miranda A. Liguez and Marcell A. Liguez, his niece Osiris Magaña (Juan Carlos Rojo); numerous nieces/ nephews and grandnieces/nephews.

Visitation services will be on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 4p.m.-8p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6p.m. Chapel service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10 a.m., with interment services to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78226.
