Javier Ramirez Sr. passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 in San Antonio.

He was born on June 30, 1951 to Eugenio and Maria Ramirez  in San Antonio, Tx.

Javier worked for Psychological Corporation for about 20 years and also worked at KWD Manufracturing for 13 years as a lead painter.

He enjoyed spending his time with his jigsaw puzzles with the help  of his granddaughter.  He also enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs.  He had a big sense of humor and loved telling jokes and stories of his childhood.

He is preceded in death by his wife MaryJane Ramirez, and his parents Eugenio and Maria Ramirez and his brothers Eugenio Jr and Hector.

He is survived by his children: Mary (Rene) Cepeda, Javier Jr, Diane (George) Perez; his Grandchildren Felicia (Trey), Briana (Chris), Samantha (Jaime), Gabrielle, Sophia; his Great-grandchildren Cassius, Irabelle and two brothers and six sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Javier was a strong family oriented person who would not hesitate to lend a hand to his family and friends.  He was a big part of our lives that we will miss dearly, but his love for us will always be in our hearts.
