Jenavie
Prado
May 13, 1987 – February 22, 2026
Jenavie Prado, sadly passed away on February 22, 2026 after a long and difficult journey with her health. She was born May 13,1987 to her parents Laura Zapata and Reynaldo Prado Jr. Jenavie was the second oldest of 4 daughters, including Roxanne Barron, Christina Prado, and myself (Katherine Prado)
Jenavie was the kind of person that lit up a room. Her laughter and joyous energy always brought our family together, especially in times when we needed it most. Her loyalty and kindness were proven by the ever growing group of friends and people who couldn't help but love Jenavie for exactly who she was.
No matter the time. No matter the circumstance, Jenavie would be there for you. And that's something we will miss most about our sister.
She is proceeded in death by her grandmother Catalina Zapata, her nephew Angel Cisneros, and her mother Laura Zapata. All of whom she missed dearly but is now reunited again with in heaven.
Her legacy and love lives on through her daughter Kaylee Prado- whom she loved beyond measure. As well as her nephews Joshua, Austin, Thomas and Finley and her only niece Jaalyn.
A service celebrating her life will be held on March 13th 2026, at Castillo Funeral home from 4:00 pm- 8:00 pm where those who knew and loved Jen, will be able to celebrate the life of our sister and the bond we all share because of the love she gave to us.
