Jennifer
Herrera
August 13, 1977 – September 25, 2022
Jennifer Herrera took the Lord's hand and entered eternal rest on Sunday night, September 25, 2022, at the age of 45.
She was born on August 13, 1977, in San Antonio, Texas, the only daughter of Margaret Trevino. Jennifer endured much during her lifetime and always came out on top because of her supportive family and her love for life. She was blessed with two gifts from the Lord, her daughters Clarisa and Cassandra, and her two grandbabies.
Jennifer enjoyed the simple pleasures life had to offer such as; good music to dance with, never missing a Novela on TV, conversations with anyone she met and knew, making someone smile, or feeling hopeful for the future of those she knew. She loved to visit the Basilica of our Lady of San Juan del Valle, a national shrine where she loved to see Our lady of Guadalupe. Jennifer lived for the moments when everyone would come together to celebrate the milestones in life. Those times exists now in our memories and will be cherished forever.
She is preceded in death by Guadalupe Cuevas, Rudy Cuevas, and Guadalupe Cuevas Jr.
She is survived by her mother, Margaret Cuevas Trevino; stepfather, Armando Mancha; children, Clarisa Nevel (Raymundo) and Cassandra Reyna; two grandchildren, Jona and Olivia; sister, Angelina Trevino; brothers, Erik Herrera and Thomas Trevino (Roberta); Grandmother, Glondina Cuevas; aunt, Dina Marsh; uncle, Danny Cuevas; in addition to numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Castillo Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, with a Funeral Mass at St. Lawrence Catholic Church at 10:00 am and interment to follow at Mission Park South.
