Jennifer Leigh
Marchese
August 31, 1989 – April 7, 2021
Jennifer Leigh Marchese, 31, beloved fiancée, new mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, aunt and irreplaceable friend passed away on April 7, 2021.
Jennifer was born on August 31, 1989, in Dilley, Texas to Louis Marchese, Jr, and Leticia Muriel Marchese. She graduated from Cotulla High School in 2007, then moved away from small town living to begin her adult life in the closest big city. Jennifer found a home in the food service industry in San Antonio, working at some of the city's most popular restaurants. Her love of food and her ability to connect with people over it, made this the perfect fit for her vibrant personality. The people she worked with and the patrons of these establishments went on to become some of Jenn's dearest friends.
Jennifer developed a passion for travel and made memories in cities including London, Paris, Amsterdam and destinations like Cabo San Lucas and Hawaii. She was always planning her next trip and new adventure.
Jennifer had eclectic taste in music, and although karaoke was not her strong suit, her uncanny knowledge of all things pop culture made her the absolute best trivia partner.
She started each day by thanking God for having allowed her to wake, and lived each day with a positive outlook that shone on everyone she met. She met the love of her life, Manuel and they shared a beautiful love story, which we were all blessed to have witnessed. She realized her dream of being a mom to their beautiful Baby Jackson and she loved him with all her might. She fought for her life on this Earth with courage, faith and a boundless optimism that will continue to inspire us all.
Jennifer will be met in Heaven by her father Louis Marchese, Jr, her grandparents Louis and Rose Marchese, and her infant son, Jackson Phoenix Ayala. Along with these loved ones, she will also be reunited with her beautiful guardian angel, Veronica Perez.
She is survived by her adoring fiancé Manuel Ayala, her mother Leticia Marchese, her siblings Louis Marchese III (Vanessa), Dawn Grady (Jack), Veronica Del Toro-Mus (John) and Victor Del Toro, Jr, her grandparents Raul and Gloria Muriel, aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces, nephews and friends who will continue to share "Jenn Stories" and who will smile every time they hear Bob Marley, Selena, or Led Zeppelin, watch a rerun of Friends, or add a stamp to their passport as we all strive to Live Like Jenn.
