Jenoveva Alarcon went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2022, at the age of 76 years old. She was born in San Antonio Texas to Melchor and Margarita Serna on April 4, 1946.

Jenoveva is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Virginia, Patsy, Lucinda, Vale, Manuel, Jesse and Nicholasa.  She is survived by her daughter, Leticia Serna Alarcon; siblings, Cruz and Amelia, many nieces and nephews including, Angie Del Rio, Ray Serna, Mary Ann Lozano, Sylvia Lozano, Cleo Castillo, Liza Barrera Garza, and John Barrera, who were like sons and daughters to her; in addition to numerous extended family and friends. She is going to be missed and will be forever remembered by all those that knew and loved her dearly.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. On Friday, July 8, 2022, a funeral mass will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando II Catholic Cemetery.
